The instrumental is the song without the voice: drums, bass, chords and everything else. The acapella is the voice on its own. You get both from one upload.
Yes. The acapella is the isolated voice, so the same upload works as a vocal isolator and an acapella extractor. The instrumental is your karaoke or backing track.
Backing vocals and harmonies usually go out with the lead vocal. Long reverb and doubled vocals can leave a faint trace in the instrumental.
